SRG Global Ltd (ASX: SRG) is a diversified infrastructure services company operating across the full asset lifecycle — engineering, construction and long-term maintenance — for major utilities, mining companies, government agencies and public institutions. With a workforce of more than 5,000 people across Australia and New Zealand, the company specialises in complex civil works, asset remediation, shutdown services, specialist infrastructure installation and long-duration maintenance programs.
The company’s newly announced $650 million contract package represents a significant step in SRG’s strategic expansion, particularly in Western Australia, where demand for specialist civil, maintenance and defence-related services remains elevated. From desalination tanks and wind farms to hospital façades and bridge strengthening, the breadth of newly awarded work reflects SRG’s role as an essential service provider to critical national infrastructure.
SRG’s newly secured contracts span almost every major industrial and public infrastructure segment, significantly strengthening the company’s forward pipeline through to 2032. In Western Australia, SRG has been awarded a contract to design and construct concrete tanks for the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project, delivered by the Alkimos Seawater Alliance comprising Water Corporation, Acciona and Jacobs. The project has already commenced and will run for 17 months. At the same time, the company will undertake flood-resilience upgrades and stormwater drainage improvements for the Byron Shire Council in Byron Bay, enhancing critical water and civil infrastructure in a region prone to severe weather impacts.
SRG also secured a series of major transport and defence-related projects, including specialist bridge rehabilitation and maintenance works at the San Remo Bridge in Victoria under a Program Delivery Approach model with VIDA Roads, where early works are already underway. Additional defence infrastructure contracts across Western Australia are also progressing and are scheduled for completion in 2026, reflecting SRG’s expanding participation in Commonwealth-funded asset programs.
In the renewable energy sector, SRG was appointed by Fortescue to deliver specialist earthworks and civil services for the Bonney Downs Wind Farm in the Pilbara. Work on this strategically significant project begins immediately and is due for completion in April 2026, highlighting SRG’s growing role in supporting Australia’s energy transition, particularly in remote industrial regions where complex logistics and technical expertise are critical.
The company also secured an extensive suite of long-term maintenance agreements with major mining and industrial operators, reinforcing its strong annuity earnings profile. These include a five-year shutdown maintenance contract with Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers for CSBP’s Kwinana operations; a seven-year specialist maintenance contract with South32 at Worsley Alumina; a five-year shutdown and maintenance services agreement with the Bugarrba Aboriginal JV and Roy Hill; a four-year contract with Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia; and a five-year multi-disciplinary maintenance agreement with Alcoa across its Pinjarra and Wagerup facilities. SRG was also appointed to Rio Tinto’s Sustaining Capital Master Construction Agreement Panel to deliver bulk earthworks and civil services across the Pilbara. Supplementing these wins are additional minesite infrastructure works, including Sections 4 and 2A of the Marble Bar Road upgrade and the construction of a skyway and civil infrastructure at the McPhee mine site. These long-duration contracts, running between 2026 and 2032, provide SRG with substantial revenue visibility and operational stability over the decade ahead.
Further strengthening its presence in the public and institutional sector, SRG secured multiple high-value contracts across health and education. These include specialist façade packages with Lendlease for the new Melton Hospital in Victoria and the UWA Nedlands Student Accommodation project, as well as additional works awarded by Multiplex for Bunbury Hospital and by CPB Contractors for the New Dunedin Hospital in New Zealand. These projects, extending through to November 2028, underline SRG’s reputation for delivering technically complex façade, structural and building-envelope solutions across major institutional builds.
SRG’s contract awards come at a time of sustained demand for infrastructure investment across Australia and New Zealand. Governments at state and federal levels continue to advance major water, health, road and defence programs, while the resources and renewable sectors require increasing levels of specialist engineering and maintenance capability.
SRG’s positioning as a full-lifecycle service provider — spanning engineering, construct, sustain — gives it a distinct competitive edge. The company’s annuity-style revenue streams, driven by multi-year shutdown and maintenance contracts with major mining operators, provide resilience against cyclical construction volatility. The expansion of SRG’s asset remediation and marine infrastructure capability through its TAMS business has also broadened its attractiveness in collaborative contracting models.
With a pipeline now extending through to 2032, SRG enters the second half of FY26 with strong momentum across all major divisions. The company continues to benefit from high demand for specialist shutdown services, complex civil infrastructure capability and recurring maintenance programs in the resources sector. Growth in defence, health and renewable energy infrastructure further supports the company’s strategic diversification.
SRG’s strong balance sheet and technical credibility position it well to pursue additional contract opportunities as governments and private operators accelerate long-term infrastructure upgrades across water security, energy transition and regional connectivity.
SRG Global’s latest $650 million contract haul underscores its evolution into one of Australia and New Zealand’s most versatile and sought-after infrastructure services providers. With major wins across water, defence, transport, renewables, mining, health and education, the company has reinforced its leadership in specialist engineering and long-term maintenance. Backed by a stable annuity earnings profile, a decade-long project pipeline and strong client relationships, SRG is well placed to deliver sustained growth and shareholder value well into the next decade.
