Global Health Limited (ASX: GLH), founded in 1985 and headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria, is a leading provider of digital health solutions to the Australian healthcare sector. The company specialises in electronic medical records (EMRs), patient administration systems, practice management solutions, and secure healthcare messaging platforms. Global Health’s SaaS portfolio is designed to streamline healthcare operations, improve patient outcomes, and facilitate digital transformation across acute, community, and allied health services. Currently, Global Health shares are trading at $0.11 per share.
Through this contract, Youturn will integrate Global Health’s digital health solutions across its key mental health and community services. The MasterCare+ platform will optimise case management, improve service efficiency, and enable better tracking of clinical outcomes.
Additionally, HotHealth’s Digital Front Door will allow clients to interact with services online, making healthcare more accessible. ReferralNet’s Secure Messaging system will ensure that sensitive patient data is shared securely between multidisciplinary care teams, improving communication and continuity of care.
Global Health Managing Director Mathew Cherian highlighted that this agreement represents an important step in enhancing Youturn’s digital capabilities, allowing it to better support youth mental health and social services. He added that the adoption of integrated healthcare technology is vital for ensuring efficient case management and improved patient outcomes.
The digital transformation initiative will be rolled out across various Youturn-operated services, including the Youth Enhanced Service (YES) in Darling Downs and Adelaide, eight headspace centres, such as those in Maroochydore and Toowoomba, and StandBy services, which provide phone counselling and after-hours support in NSW and NT.
This initiative aims to enhance service efficiency, improve accessibility, and strengthen data security, with a particular focus on supporting regional and remote communities.
Youturn CEO Andrew Anderson emphasised the importance of investing in digital infrastructure, particularly for mental health services operating across multiple locations. The use of MasterCare+ and ReferralNet Secure Messaging will ensure that staff and clinicians have seamless access to patient data, enabling better decision-making and care coordination.
The Australian healthcare sector is undergoing a significant digital transformation, with government initiatives and funding programs encouraging providers to adopt electronic health records, telehealth, and digital engagement tools. This transition is particularly important for community-based healthcare services, where efficiency, accessibility, and security are key concerns.
Global Health’s MasterCare+ and HotHealth platforms are designed to help organisations like Youturn transition from paper-based or fragmented digital systems to a fully integrated, cloud-based health management system. By implementing secure digital solutions, Youturn will be able to reduce administrative overheads, allowing more time for direct client support. The system will enhance clinical decision-making by ensuring real-time access to patient records, while also improving data security to protect sensitive mental health and social care information.
The contract also includes data migration from existing systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption for healthcare providers.
This contract marks a significant milestone in Global Health’s growth strategy, reinforcing its position as a leader in digital health solutions. The company continues to expand its SaaS portfolio and target further opportunities in mental health, community care, and allied health sectors.
With the rising demand for digitally connected healthcare services, Global Health is well-positioned to secure additional partnerships in Australia and explore expansion opportunities internationally. The adoption of cloud-based healthcare systems is expected to grow significantly in the coming years, presenting new business opportunities for digital health providers.
Youturn’s successful rollout of MasterCare+ and ReferralNet Secure Messaging could serve as a blueprint for other community healthcare organisations, driving further adoption of Global Health’s technology across the sector.
